Ranger Environmental Services, Inc. is an environmental consulting firm (Geoscience Firm #50140; RCAS00115) offering a broad range of services specializing in risk-based site investigations and remediation, hydrogeological studies, enforcement/litigation assistance and expert witness testimony, compliance audits, site divestiture investigations and environmental permitting and planning. These services have been performed for a wide variety of LPST sites at locations ranging from Dalhart to Brownsville and El Paso to Texarkana.
Ranger’s professional staff offers a variety of scientific disciplines including engineering, geology, hydrogeology, biology and earth sciences. Additionally, Ranger staff members have approximately 40 years of combined environmental regulatory experience. This experience allows our staff to rapidly evaluate data, provide technical interpretations and recommendations and develop quality and effective solutions to complex LPST problems.
Ranger has successfully assessed hundreds of LPST sites, and has conducted numerous hydrogeological investigations and remedial actions across the State. Ranger routinely conducts aquifer pump and slug tests, groundwater classification tests, groundwater contaminant fate and transport modeling and development of risk-based cleanup criteria. Ranger manages all phases of LPST assessment and remediation; including, initial site investigations, UST removals, release determination reporting and site closure.
Ranger is intimately familiar with all TCEQ LPST publications, guidance, interoffice memorandums, and other relevant documents which have shaped the LPST program through the years. This includes the TCEQ Exit Criteria Evaluation flow chart which Ranger has utilized to close hundreds of LPST sites across Texas.
Our staff has been involved in LPST projects for over thirty-one (31) years; either as employees of TCEQ predecessor agencies or in a consulting capacity.
